One of the perks of the Amex Platinum card is a $50 credit to Saks Fifth Avenue twice a year. The first of the two credits has to be used by June 30 each year. With just days left to use my credit, I was having a are time finding something that didn’t cost a lot of money that I wanted. But then I found the HOM Lys Jersey Pajama Set. They were on sale for $51.59 before tax and with the $50 statement credit, this brought to my total to $1.59 before tax. I forgot to use Ebates, but if I had remembered, I would’ve earned 6% back from Rakuten for a total of $3.10 back. What this means is, had I remembered Ebates, I would’ve made money by buying these HOM Lys Jersey Pajamas.

The Pajama set retails for $110 not on sale. I am. Not a huge fan of pajama sets with a button shirt and usually just wear a comfy t-shirt with pajama pants or joggers. Truthfully, if it wasn’t for the Amex credit, I’m not sure I would’ve bought these for the above reason.

When I received the PJ set two days later (Thanks Shoprunner—also free for Amex card holders) my first impression was the set was not as soft as I expected. I tried them on and they fit really well. They also seemed to keep cool and I didn’t overheat in them. I also felt extra cozy wearing these with a robe. Also, the pattern goes great with blue robe. I loved the pattern on them. It added a bit of fun to them without being too crazy. I’m certainly looking forward to lounging around in these PJs over the 4th of July weekend.

Update

After wearing these a few days, I thought to myself: why don’t I own more pajama sets?! Prior to this I’ve only owned A few pairs of matching Christmas pajama sets. But I feel confident and classy in this HOM pajama set and am hoping to find some more at a bargain soon.
