After my fiancé and I got engaged it was time to figure out what to get my best man as a best-man gift. My best man is one of those guys that seems to have everything he needs so it took a lot of thought on what to gift him. My fiance and I brainstormed a few ideas but I kept coming back to the idea of some comfort items to use in his little free time. As a parent and probably the hardest working person I know, I know he doesn’t have a lot of time to himself and if he’s lounging he’s probably in a sweatshirt.
Introducing the “Club Room Men’s Plush Robe, Created For Macy’s”.
I saw this robe and thought it would be great as part of a Best-Man gift. I decided to do a comfort box that included this robe. It was soft, not too thick so he can wear loungewear underneath and not get too hot, and the price was at a price point I was ok with including other items in the box. He loved it.
The robe is plush but also comfortable enough to wear all year. It’s rare that I feel that I get hot in it, but this also means you might need an extra layer in winter depending on where you live.
The only thing that struck me as strange is the pockets are on the side, something you usually see on women’s dresses. Sometimes when I try to put my phone or anything else larger in the pocket it gets caught on the tie directly above the pocket.
I ended up purchasing a few more of these for some of my other guy friends for Christmas. And funny enough, I received the robe as a Christmas present.
