No, the title isn’t an exaggerated click-bait title, it’s for real. I first heard about Saranoni when one of our friends sent us a Saranoni Grand as a housewarming present. We now have 3 Saranoni throws that we use on our couch and looking to get an extra-large size blanket for our bed. Our dog and resident-expert on all things cuddly, Pete, loves laying on top of the blankets.
During safer at home, our favorite thing is to cuddle up as a family, each with our own blanket, and watch a movie or binge watch TV. The blankets provide a sense of comfort and security during Coronavirus, even for my fiancé and I who have long grown out of using a security blanket 🙂 .
I personally like the lush as opposed to the grand style of blankets. The Grand blankets are essentially two blankets sewed together, so they are thicker than the lush. The Grand may be better suited for colder climates, but in LA the single layer of the Saranoni Lush is perfect.
These blankets hold up really well after numerous washes. They are hang-dry only so you will be without it for a little while it dries. This may be more of a problem if you’re drying one of their kid-size blankets and your kids are impatient 🙂 .
The only downside is it looks like the largest size Saranoni offers is queen-size. We’ve got a king-size bed so we will likely have to purchase two to cover our entire bed. Looking forward to giving some of these blankets as gifts for both the kids and adults in our life.
