Pajama Fanatics, Robe Lovers, Coffee Drinkers, and Cozy Enthusiasts Unite!
For quite some time, I’ve obsessed all things cozy–that chunk sweater, that aromatic smell, and crackle from a candle. But my favorite cozy things are pajamas, robes, and being able to sip on a coffee or espresso drink. I’ve tasted my fair share of espresso drinks and have built up quite the collection of pajama and robes.
So here we are, a few months into LA’s safer at home order for Coronavirus. I’ve worn almost exclusively pajamas and robes (rotating every few days) since March, changing only for hikes outside, grad school interviews, and a few failed-attempts at-home workouts. Although Coronavirus has wreaked havoc on so much of the world and our lives, I find comfort in putting on a robe and cuddling up next to my fiance and my dog–it’s like three hugs combined. If there is one silver lining in all of this, it’s that workplaces will never be the same. From now on, Many people will be fortunate to work from home more often or all the time.
In my weekend reading, I came across an article from the New York Times in which people talk about similar feelings of relaxation, coziness, and confidence all wrapped in a robe. Lightbulb moment! The idea for this blog was born. So let’s discuss pajamas, robes, and other cozy things!
In coziness,
Jon
