Last weekend in LA we had near a 30 degree temperature drop. With temperatures dropping into the 40s at night, we’ve started using our hooded bathrobes again. Hooded robes are perfect when there is a crisp cool chill in the air and even your ears get cold in the morning. With our heat off in an effort to conserve energy, it gets cool inside our home. Last night with a balmy 65 degrees inside, I slept in my Alexander Del Rossa Robe.

Alexander Del Rossa Men’s Warm Fleece Robe with Hood, Plush Sherpa available from Amazon. This robe is what you’d expect from a hooded robe. It’s cozy and plush and keeps me warm. When I first got this robe, I loved the sherpa lining. But even after minimal use, like all sherpa fleece, the material flattens and looks kind of ratty (You can even see it in this picture). The flattened sherpa makes the sherpa lining not as plush as I’d like it to be.
But this robe should definitely make it through atleast one winter with proper care and following wash instructions.

Also from Alexander Del Rossa, the Alexander Del Rossa Women’s Warm Fleece Robe with Hood, Long Plush Bathrobe is my fiance’s favorite robe and one of her go to’s year round when she’s cold. This robe is long! the picture shown is spot on and this will go to your ankles or longer. If you’re going up stairs, expect that it will hit the stairs or ground increasing the possibility of it getting dirty. Though it may be seen as a negative that it’s so long it may touch the ground, it serves its purpose in keeping you warm and cozy. Like the male version of Alexander Del Rossa’s hooded robe, be sure to follow the wash instructions on this robe to keep it lasting longer.
